Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Philadelphia, PA)

Redstone Ridge Medical Partners builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Philadelphia. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Turn requests about clinical evaluations into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with clinical evaluations. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
