Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Omaha, NE)

Highbridge Linden Health is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for insurance authorisations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about insurance authorisations into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
