Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Juniper Facilities and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about work orders into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
