Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Omaha, NE)

Bright Basin Health Group is a healthcare provider in Omaha with clinics and support teams. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Turn requests about electronic records into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with electronic records. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
