Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Oklahoma City, OK)

Highbridge Wilder Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Oklahoma City. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about enrolment into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oklahoma City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
