Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Oakland, CA)

Greenridge Field Community Partners is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for grant reporting, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about grant reporting into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with grant reporting. • Cloud deployment experience.
