Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Oakland, CA)

Bluepeak Amber Medical Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for regulatory submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory submissions. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
