Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Oakland, CA)

Redstone Thistle Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Oakland producing generic and specialty treatments. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 182 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about quality documentation into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with quality documentation.
