Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Nashville, TN)

We are growing our team at Summit Ridge Early Learning and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about licensing records into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with licensing records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
