Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Nashville, TN)

Greenridge Timber Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Nashville. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 149 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about student accounts into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with student accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
