Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Nashville, TN)

Harborlight Clear Legal Group is a Nashville practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. People here care about clients, not just cases. What you will do • Turn requests about court deadlines into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with court deadlines. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
