Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Milwaukee, WI)

Fernwood Ivory Legal Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for trust accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 64 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about trust accounts into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with trust accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Milwaukee. • We reply to every applicant.
