Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Miami, FL)

We are growing our team at Redstone Yarrow Telecom and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about field visits into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Miami. • We reply to every applicant.
