Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Miami, FL)

Fernwood Nest Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Miami, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about treatment plant data into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Miami. • We reply to every applicant.
