Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Memphis, TN)

Lumen Basin Facilities looks after properties across the Memphis region. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about safety inspections into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with safety inspections. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
