Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Madison, WI)

Ironwood Umber Facilities is a facilities company in Madison with crews on day and night shifts, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Madison. What you will do • Turn requests about supply orders into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with supply orders. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
