Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Madison, WI)

Nova Union Health runs clinics and patient services around Madison. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of about 561 people based in Madison. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with patient education. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
