Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Louisville, KY)

Fernwood Maple Community Partners Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for donor records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with donor records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
