Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Louisville, KY)

Northwind Oak Inspection Services is an inspection company in Louisville with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about client sites into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
