Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Little Rock, AR)

Greenridge Sparrow Energy is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for meter readings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about meter readings into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Little Rock. • We reply to every applicant.
