Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Las Vegas, NV)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Oak Telecom and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about outage reports into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Las Vegas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
