Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Las Vegas, NV)

We are growing our team at Summit Bridge Legal Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about court deadlines into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Las Vegas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
