Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Knoxville, TN)

Highbridge Pike Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Knoxville producing generic and specialty treatments, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about quality documentation into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with quality documentation. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
