Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Knoxville, TN)

Northwind Fox Early Learning is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about enrolment into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
