Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Knoxville, TN)

Westbrook Union Inspection Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for client sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about client sites into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
