Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Knoxville, TN)

Rivermark Amber Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Knoxville. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Turn requests about quality documentation into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with quality documentation. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
