Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Jackson, MS)

Silverline Vale Financial serves customers across Jackson with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Turn requests about customer onboarding into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
