Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Indianapolis, IN)

Amberfield Willow Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Indianapolis, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about claims into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
