Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Houston, TX)

Westbrook Meadow Medical designs and makes medical devices in Houston. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory submissions. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
