Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Meridian Inspection Services and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about certifications into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
