Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Honolulu, HI)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Legal Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 64 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about billing records into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with billing records. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
