Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Lantern Pharma and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about regulatory filings into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with regulatory filings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
