Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Fresno, CA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Forge Transit Planning and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about accessibility audits into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • Cloud deployment experience.
