Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (El Paso, TX)

Lumen Iron Medical is a El Paso company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about device records into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with device records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
