Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Amber Medical Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about training materials into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with training materials. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
