Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Des Moines, IA)

Silverline Pike Community Partners is a Des Moines charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about donor records into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with donor records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
