Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Denver, CO)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Haven Water Authority Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be reliability and monitoring. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Turn requests about water quality into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Denver, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
