Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Denver, CO)

Stonegate Bridge Telecom Group builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Denver area, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about outage reports into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
