Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Denver, CO)

Westbrook Thistle Medical designs and makes medical devices in Denver, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
