Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Denver, CO)

Cedar Granite Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Denver and nearby communities. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Denver, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
