Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Columbus, OH)

Highbridge Stone Inspection Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about test reports into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
