Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Columbus, OH)

Bluepeak Glen Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Columbus. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. You would join a large organisation of about 688 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Turn requests about equipment calibration into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
