Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Colorado Springs, CO)

Northwind Timber Insurance Group provides coverage to households and businesses around Colorado Springs, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about claims into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We reply to every applicant.
