Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Colorado Springs, CO)

Amberfield Kestrel Financial Group is a financial-services company in Colorado Springs, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Turn requests about customer onboarding into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We reply to every applicant.
