Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Colorado Springs, CO)

Highbridge Basin Energy is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on reliability and monitoring for meter readings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about meter readings into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We reply to every applicant.
