Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Colorado Springs, CO)

Northwind Ember Early Learning Group is an early-learning provider in Colorado Springs. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Turn requests about meal programmes into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with meal programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Colorado Springs, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
