Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Colorado Springs, CO)

Lumen Glen Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Colorado Springs. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about supply orders into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with supply orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
