Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Colorado Springs, CO)

Foxglove Mill Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Colorado Springs design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on reliability and monitoring. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about survey data into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We reply to every applicant.
