Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Cleveland, OH)

Bright Cedar Facilities Group is a facilities company in Cleveland with crews on day and night shifts, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about work orders into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
