Software Engineer - reliability and monitoring (Cincinnati, OH)

Bluepeak Ashton Health runs clinics and patient services around Cincinnati, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our reliability and monitoring. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about electronic records into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with electronic records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
